Production
Plan production from your orders
Humryk gathers the week's orders from business customers, your online shop and upcoming subscriptions into one weekly plan, day by day, like a spreadsheet. From there you get a roast plan in kilos or material needs against stock, and delivery day becomes a route. The weekly plan is in pilot and switched on per shop; every shop has the production overview with its PDF report.
- New orders land in the right week by your deadline (Friday 23:59 by default), with a separate deadline for business customers if you like
- Upcoming subscription orders show up to four weeks before they are created
- A roast plan in roasted and green weight, with roast loss per coffee
- A delivery route and driver mode that work without signal

The week as a spreadsheet, with the orders already in it
Many producers plan their week in a spreadsheet they fill in by hand. The weekly plan is that sheet, except the orders fill themselves in: business orders when they are placed, online-shop orders when they are paid.
Each row is one order. If the customer chose a pickup or delivery day, the row sits on that day; otherwise you drag it where it belongs. Totals per day and for the week add themselves up, in kilos of coffee and in money.
- Deadline ruleOrders after your deadline go to next week's plan, so the week you produce is the week you see.
- Subscriptions before they happenUpcoming subscription orders appear as «estimated» up to four weeks ahead, with the day each order will be created.
- Your own columnsUp to 20 columns of status, note, checkbox, list, number or date. Status in the plan never changes the order and sends no email.
- Like a spreadsheetPaste from Excel, fill down, drag rows between days, change many at once and undo. Several people can work in the week at the same time.
- Internal workAdd your own rows for production to stock or other jobs that aren't an order.
- ExportDownload the week as CSV.
Roast plan and material needs
From the week, Humryk works out what you actually have to do: for coffee a roast plan per coffee, for other products the material needs against what you have in stock. Look at the whole week or a single day.
- Roasted and green weightHow many kilos of each coffee to roast, and how much green coffee that takes. With 15% roast loss, 100 kg roasted needs 117.6 kg green.
- Roast loss per coffee15% to start with, and you change it per coffee from your own experience.
- Bag sizes and grindUnder each coffee you see how much goes into each bag size and grind.
- Material needs against stockFor other products: what the week needs, what you have in stock and what is short, per variant.
- With or without subscriptionsChoose whether upcoming subscription orders count in the plan.
- PDF and CSVPrint the roast plan for the roastery, or download it.
Delivery day becomes a route
If you deliver to cafés and shops yourself, delivery day becomes a route: the stops in order, with an expected time for each stop and the customer's time window.
«Optimise order» suggests a route that saves driving and shows how much it saves; you decide whether to use it.
- Driver modeOne stop at a time with call and directions, «Delivered» or «Not delivered» with a reason. Works without signal and syncs when the phone is back online.
- The customer hears from youIf the customer ordered «Delivery by you», they get «On the way» with a time window when the route starts, and «Delivered» when you arrive.
- Driving listPrint the day's driving list as a PDF, with addresses, phone numbers, items and notes.
What every shop has, with or without the weekly plan
The production overview adds up orders for the dates you choose, per day, per channel and with or without subscriptions. It also prints a production report as a PDF.
Your own deliveries are set up under shipping: postcodes, route days and time windows, cut-off, price, free delivery over an amount, minimum order and how many stops you can make a day. Packing slips print from the order list, for many orders at once.
What it doesn't do
- The weekly plan is in pilot and switched on per shop. Tell us and we'll switch it on for you.
- No batch or lot tracking, no recipes or bills of materials, and no planning of machine or roaster capacity.
- Green weight is an estimate from roast loss; stock of green and roasted coffee isn't tracked in Humryk.
Common questions
- How do I plan production from my orders?
- In the weekly plan, the week's orders from business customers and your online shop are already there, one row per order, on the day the customer chose. The roast plan (for coffee) or material needs (for other products) are worked out from the week, so you see what to make and what is short.
- Can I see subscription orders before they are created?
- Yes. Upcoming subscription orders appear as «estimated» up to four weeks ahead, with the day they will be created. You choose whether they count in the roast plan.
- How is green weight worked out?
- Green weight is roasted weight divided by (1 − roast loss). Roast loss starts at 15% and can be changed per coffee. It's a planning estimate. Always check it against your own experience.
- Does the weekly plan work for producers other than coffee roasters?
- Yes. For other products the weekly plan shows material needs against stock instead of a roast plan, and the status reads «Picked» instead of «Roasted».
- Does the order change if I move it in the plan?
- No. The plan is your workspace. The order only changes if you choose to move the customer's time or the date a subscription creates its next order, and then the customer is told.
- Does the driver need a separate app?
- No. The driver signs in to Humryk on their phone and uses driver mode. It keeps the screen awake and works without signal; marks are sent when the phone is back online.
- How do I get the weekly plan?
- The weekly plan is in pilot. Get in touch and we'll switch it on for your shop. Every shop has the production overview, own deliveries and packing slips from day one.
