Guide for beekeepers
Sell honey online
Beekeepers register their apiary sites with Mattilsynet, and register their honey sales as well. Honey has its own labelling rules: the country where it was harvested, and a warning that honey must not be given to babies under 12 months. Jars are heavy and break easily, so pack them well or let customers collect.

Jars, shipping and collection
Honey in glass is heavy and breaks easily. Pack each jar on its own with plenty of space from the sides of the box, or ship honey in plastic tubs.
Many beekeepers sell mostly for collection and only ship to customers far away. List this year's honey once it's extracted, and say when it has sold out.
Nearby shops
Farm shops, delis and cafés nearby like to stock local honey. In the B2B portal they order at their prices, and you approve the order before you pack.
